Here we go again

So it's that time of the semester again when I want nothing more than to crawl into a hole and stay there for three months. Every semester. For nine semesters.

It's that time again when Present Emeline is upset with some of the decisions Past Emeline made.

I'm slowly realizing that not every cloud needs, or should have, a silver lining. Sometimes things are bad for a reason. Sometimes finding the positive in every situation only becomes a crutch for ignoring reality.

And sometimes there comes a point where you have to stand up to reality and deny it.

Also, sometimes it's oddly satisfying and relieving to once again be spouting cryptic messages in a doom and gloomy sort of way.

"Hey Doom, it's Gloom here. Wanna smoke?"
