Mardi Gras

So apparently Mardi Gras falls on February 8th this year. Odd. That must mean Easter is sometime in March or something. Odder. It's usually around my birthday, which is at the end of April. In fact, my birthday is usually on either Easter or Earth Day, or somewhere within one or two days of there.

There was an announcement for a Mardi Gras frat party on the sidewalk today, one of the biggest I'd ever seen (chalkings, that is). I thought it was odd that they were advertising that a month in advance, but I guess they were right on target.
